Grounded Packaging: Proudly Re-Certified as a B Corp

At Grounded Packaging, sustainability and responsible practices are at the foundation of everything we do. That’s why we’re proud to announce that we have successfully completed our B Corp recertification, reaffirming our commitment to environmental and social responsibility.

‍

What is B Corp?

B Corp certification is a globally recognized standard awarded to businesses that meet rigorous benchmarks for social and environmental performance, accountability, and transparency. Established by the non-profit B Lab, the B Corp movement is redefining success in business by ensuring that companies consider the broader impact of their decisions—not just on shareholders, but on workers, customers, suppliers, communities, and the environment. As of October 2024, the global B Corp community comprises over 9,000 certified companies across 103 countries and 162 industries, reflecting a broader global shift towards ethical and sustainable business practices.

‍

What does it mean to be a B Corp company?

Becoming a B Corp signifies a company’s deep commitment to balancing profit with purpose. Certified B Corps are legally required to consider the impact of their decisions across all stakeholders, adhering to high standards in governance, workers’ rights, community engagement, environmental responsibility, and customer impact. The certification process is rigorous, requiring companies to meet strict criteria and undergo recertification every three years to ensure ongoing progress and accountability.

Grounded’s B-Corp re-certification achievement

In November 2024, we achieved a B Corp score of 84.7, a reflection of our ongoing dedication to meeting the highest standards of accountability, transparency, and impact across all areas of our business. It’s a rigorous process, and for good reason—B Corps are held to strict criteria that ensure companies like ours drive meaningful change, not just profits.

‍

For us, this certification is more than just a label. It’s a commitment to building a circular economy, reducing waste, and ensuring that our packaging solutions genuinely contribute to a more sustainable future. From sourcing regenerative materials to minimizing carbon footprints, every decision we make is grounded in our mission to create packaging for a better planet.

‍

Recertification isn’t a one-time achievement; it’s an ongoing process that challenges us to continuously improve our business and push the industry forward. We’re honoured to be part of the global B Corp community and remain dedicated to redefining what responsible packaging looks like.

‍

Thank you to our customers, partners, and team for supporting our vision. Together, we’re proving that business can be a force for good.
